Internships@MQ

Internships provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a relevant organisation, while completing their studies in Australia.

The internship will be a formal part of students’ Macquarie studies and they will receive academic credit. Students will Intern for between 10-20 hours per week for 12 weeks on the Internship project and will be assessed by visits, interviews, reports and a major assignment. Internship projects can be completed in a variety of disciplines including business administration, marketing, biomedical sciences, computer science, media, communications, finance, psychology and public relations (others not mentioned will be considered).

Administration is handled by the Internships department of Macquarie International. This includes the recruitment and selection of suitable Interns, finding internship placements, providing orientation on Australia and Australian business culture, providing housing and ongoing support services, and liaising with academic supervisors.
